Java Developer

Requirements

• 5 (+) years  Oracle / Java developer specifically using Oracle JDBC and Oracle Java features.
• 5(+ ) years working with Java technology, including J2SE (rmi, applets, servlets) and/or J2EE.
• Experience working with XML, Oracle LOBs, SOAP,  web services and API development.
• Requires strong ORACLE skills – knowledge of Oracle Cartridge technology, performance tuning, development of complex procedures and functions. 
• Oracle 9i experience preferred.
• BS in computer science or related field

Preferred candidate will also have:

• Scientific or life sciences background
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry – scientific area
• Unix experience
• Sun Certified Java Programmer or Sun Certified Java Developer
• Oracle Certified Java Developer

.NET Programmer

Requirements

• 5(+) years experience developing complex applications in a multi-tier environment using Windows as a client with an Oracle backend server.
• Experience coding with all of the following technologies
  - Visual Basic (VB) / .NET using ADO connectivity to Oracle backend
  - Dynamic HTML (DHTML) applications
  - DLL development
  - COM+ development
• Strong Oracle background – including development of complex procedures and functions. Oracle 9i experience preferred. 
• BS in computer science or related field

Preferred candidate will also have:

• Scientific or life sciences background
• Oracle Certification
• Microsoft .NET Certification
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry – scientific area
• Experience with C# / Java
• Unix experience
